Randy Palaniuk announced at the April 29, 2020 Board meeting that he will be stepping down from the role of President. Randy took on the role of president of the association 11 years ago. Building the association and promoting safety has been Randy’s passion and he has been dedicated to CAPULC’s endeavours since its inception. He is proud of how far it has come.
Randy has accepted the position as Vice President and will remain active as much as possible. He looks forward to working with the Board and all of our dedicated Members and Sponsors. Please be advised, due to the risk and ongoing spread and severity of COVID-19 pandemic, the Safety Conference and Trade Show portion of our upcoming event in April 2020 has been canceled. Because CAPULC endeavours to promote safety we have to take appropriate measures by assuming a social responsibility to help stop the spread of the virus and the demands on our health care - safety for all!

ATTENTION MEMBERS Important Information!!!
- released March 17, 2020
The CAPULC Board has been closely monitoring the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Public Health Agency of Canada with regards to face-to-face meetings, gatherings and travel due to the COVID-19 situation. The safety and wellness of our members and sponsors is our top priority.
In our efforts to help contribute to flatten the curve, today the leadership team has made the very difficult but appropriate decision to cancel the Safety Conference and Trade Show portion of our 2020 event. We thank all of our event supporters and exhibitors for their continued support. To keep in line with our bylaws the membership’s annual general meeting will continue to take place as scheduled on April 24, 2020 at 9:00 am – 10:00 am but will be conducted in a virtual environment.
What does this mean? The annual general meeting has been reformatted to a teleconference. CAPULC's leadership encourages all of its members to attend this meeting. I will be providing more communication to our members with regards to the format and directives for the online meeting. This information will be sent via email closer to the day of the meeting once all of the data from our conferencing partner is in order.
We look forward to your attendance at this teleconference.
Stay healthy and safe during this difficult time. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the CAPULC Office at 1-888-492-8279 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
